CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Milena Rodriguez Mendez received her Master of Interior Design degree from the University of Florida, taking cutting edge studio courses with distinguished professors, while also gaining invaluable professional experience and mentorship from Sarah Cain of Sarah Cain Design in Gainesville, FL.

Based on a deep appreciation for cultural heritage and community, Milena has dedicated herself to the practice of implementing participatory design, placemaking, and material culture within the discipline of interior design. Additionally, Milena is involved with research efforts that investigate how regenerative and resilient housing design strategies impact building resilience and resident well-being.
